MUSICAMPUS de Guitarra Clásica Review |
|||||||
Press Comment 50 guitarists from
Argentina and Latin America travelled to this small Eden in Córdoba
to research the millenary secrets of their instrument and then transmit
and the fruits their work in this singular meeting organized by the prestigious
argentine guitarist Maria Isabel Siewers. The last night crowned a week
of intense work with 52 hours of lectures and guitar and chamber music
lessons offered with love, passion and high professional qualities. The
students had also captured the implicit lessons received during two memorable
concerts by Isabel Siewers and Pablo Márquez. Classical guitar
playing is, by its nature, an art of solitaires. But this Musicampus 2007
has broadened the horizon of this destiny encouraging the spiritual and
human growth of these young players. The practice of chamber music has
not only enriched and opened out their souls to other dimensions of art,
but has also nurtured the human feeling of comradeship. All this was reflected
in the last night through over thirty duets, trios, quartets and quintets,
marvellous Chamber Music. This was the culmination, together with other
hundreds of spiritual delights, of a memorable meeting. René
